I'm waiting for delivery of a MKS Gen T that's on a sluggish vessel from China :-). Their item naming scheme is relatively confusing many seemingly similar planks with various naming. But they possess 'documentation' of their boards on github. Most boards are usually compatible with RAMPS if not it states so in the pdf. All docs include a settings information for Marlin. That should enable you to number out the pinout with the Marlin plank definition as a base. And Kevin published a guideline on howto verify your config/pinout to prevent problems. |

Simply set mine up today on a CoreXY. used the RAMPS config for the pins (Acquired to invert path of Y and Z IIRC) but otherwise it seems to be working fine. |

I've furthermore utilized the RAMPS config on an MKS Gen 1.4 plank, and all of the pins were correct. The only changes I made were to reverse directions on a few steppers. This plank doesn't need a distinct config file. |

All, Just wanted to all a comment to this, the MKS Gen might be compatible with the RAMPS config but it would be wonderful for newbies to end up being capable to determine that from the instance config. Maybe there is usually a method to ad it in the description or into of the document? BTW im fairly fresh but i do imagine that the RAMPS would be compatible, but simply in case i was performing a research in the database and found this. But not really everyone is usually going to research before publishing a duplicate concern. |
